Rockchip’s H1 2026 Results Hit Record High: Revenue Up 40.6% to RMB 2.877 Billion, Positive Q3 Guidance

2026-10-07 Industry Insights

Rockchip’s 2026 semi-annual report shows operating revenue of RMB 2.877 billion in the first half, up 40.60% year on year, and net profit attributable to shareholders of RMB 859 million, up 61.73% — both record highs for the period.

During the reporting period, Rockchip’s AIoT computing platforms — including the RK3588, RK3576 and RV11 series — maintained rapid growth. The RK2118/RK2116 audio product lines scaled into mass production, the RK182X co-processor entered smooth volume production with expanding product lines and customer base, and new products such as RK3572 and RK3538 were successfully introduced to key customers.

Profitability improved in step: a richer product mix lifted gross margin, while R&D spending reached RMB 370 million, up 32.62% year on year, funding next-generation RK18- and RK36-series computing platforms.

At the September 11 earnings briefing, Rockchip said the company is operating well and the long-term AIoT growth trend remains intact, with Q3 results expected to follow a normal growth path. Several brokerages have recently initiated coverage with Buy-equivalent ratings, citing multi-scenario demand expansion driven by edge AI.
